The FireNEX-800™ 1394 optical repeater allows IEEE1394b signals to be sent across an optical fiber cable up to 500 meters in length and up to 800 Mbps in speed without compromising the performance of the connected devices. It provides a good solution for the remote extension of cameras involved in machine vision.
Our FireNEX-800™ has been tested with 1394b cameras from Point Grey (Dragonfly), Sony (XCD-V50CR) and Toshiba (CS6910F). All have been working flawlessly on the Windows enviroment. Our FireNEX extenders are well suited for machine vision applications.
The The FireNEX-CAT5™ repeater is the first and only IEEE1394 repeater that lets you take FireWire over Cat5 or Cat6 cable up to 100m at 100Mbps.
The Vision 2005 show is the leading show for machine vision. For more information please visit: http://www.messe-stuttgart.de/VISION/2005/english/index.htm
